National News: A shocking case from Kasganj district in Uttar Pradesh has stunned everyone after a secret affair between a mother-in-law and her son-in-law came to light. The two had been involved in a relationship for the past six months, and their objectionable photos recently went viral on social media. The incident took a tragic turn when the wife, Shivani, was killed by her own husband after discovering the affair.

Six-Month-Long Affair

This case from Nagla Parsi village in the Sidpura police station area of Kasganj district is now on everyone’s lips. Villagers say that a young man named Pramod used to spend a lot of time at his in-laws’ house. There, he got close to his mother-in-law, and gradually an illicit relationship developed between the two. At first, everything remained confined within the four walls of the house. But when their pictures were captured on a mobile phone and somehow went viral, the news spread among relatives and neighbors. Meanwhile, Pramod’s wife, Shivani, also began to suspect her husband’s betrayal. She tried several times to talk to him, but every time, arguments broke out. The tension in the house kept increasing, and love was replaced by suspicion and anger.

Dispute Two Days Before Incident

Two days before the incident, a fierce quarrel broke out at home. In anger, Pramod began to beat his wife Shivani. The matter escalated so much that within a short time, Shivani died. When the family members reached the spot, she was found dead in the verandah of the house. The scattered items around revealed how violent the fight must have been. When the police were informed, the Sidpura police station in-charge arrived with his team. The police took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem to the district hospital. The initial investigation revealed that Shivani died due to strangulation. However, the real cause of death will be confirmed only after the post-mortem report.

Their photos went viral on social media

Since the incident, the village has been in silence. People are quietly talking about the mother-in-law and son-in-law’s relationship. Meanwhile, some objectionable photos of the two have gone viral on social media, in which they are seen in intimate positions. As soon as the photos surfaced, the entire area was in uproar. Many people condemned it as a disgraceful relationship that has shredded social morals. The police, too, are investigating when and how these photos were leaked. According to sources, the viral photos were the root cause of the entire conflict. When wife Shivani saw the pictures, she confronted her husband — leading to an argument that ultimately ended in her murder.

Mother-in-law’s counterattack

A new twist emerged in the case when the deceased Shivani’s mother-in-law gave a statement to the media. The mother-in-law claimed that Shivani’s murder was orchestrated by her own mother. Shivani’s uncle said, “Our niece had told us several times that something wrong was going on between her husband and her mother-in-law. When she protested, she was killed. We want all the culprits to be severely punished.”

Police action and absconding accused

Based on the complaint of the deceased’s father, the police have registered a case of murder against husband Pramod, the mother-in-law, and other members of the in-laws’ family. Since the incident, the accused Pramod has been absconding. Several police teams are conducting raids at possible locations to arrest him. Meanwhile, the mother-in-law is also being interrogated. The Superintendent of Police of Kasganj stated that the incident is extremely sensitive. The post-mortem report is awaited. Strict action will be taken against all the accused.
