From Anti-Romeo to Eve Teasing Squad: Delhi Signals Zero Tolerance for Miscreants

Delhi Eve Teasing Squad : Now, there is no mercy for the eve-teasing miscreants in the country's capital Delhi. Preparations are being made to form an Eve Teasing Squad in Delhi. It will be formed on the lines of 'Anti Romeo Squad' in Uttar Pradesh. In Delhi, it will be named Courtesy Squad. The policemen deployed in the squad will be in plain clothes

2 Eve Teasing squads in every district

2 Eve Teasing Squads will be formed in every district of Delhi. Their heads will be ACP, Crime Against Women. Each squad will have 1 Inspector, 1 Sub Inspector and 8 Constables and Head Constables. These will also include 4 women police personnel. 1 police personnel from the Special Unit will also accompany them for technical assistance. Apart from this, the squad will also have cars and two-wheelers.

Will be posted in sensitive areas
Eve teasing squads will be deployed in all sensitive areas of Delhi. The squad members will also be in touch with RWA and local volunteers so that they can get information about sensitive places. The squad members will also do checking in public transport. They will also motivate the victims to lodge complaints in such cases. Apart from this, the squad will have to submit a report of its weekly drive to senior officers.
