National News: The recent horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, a popular tourist destination of Kashmir, has brought the tension between India and Pakistan to its peak. Militants from Pakistan attacked innocent tourists, in which 26 people died tragically. After this barbaric incident, the Government of India has taken many strict measures against Pakistan, causing a stir in the neighbouring country.

The series of rhetoric and jackals have started from Pakistan as usual, but military figures and international reports confirm that Pakistan's condition will prove to be very weak in the event of war or conflict.

India dominated in military strength

According to the latest report of Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI):

  • India has 14.75 lakh active military personnel
  • 16.16 lakh paramilitary forces
  • 1,437 fixed-wing aircraft, 995 helicopter
  • 7,074 armored fighter vehicles, 11,225 guns
  • And most important, defence budget of $ 81 billion (about ₹ 6.75 lakh crore) for 2025

This defence spending is 9 times higher than Pakistan.

Pakistan's limited power

On the other hand, Pakistan's military capacity is comparatively very limited:

  • Only 6.6 lakh active military personnel
  • 2.91 lakh paramilitary forces
  • 812 fixed wing aircraft, 322 helicopter
  • 6,137 armored vehicles, 4,619 cannons
  • Defense budget only $ 10 billion

This comparison makes it clear that Pakistan will not be able to stay long in front of India in the event of war.

India's lead in nuclear weapons also

Pakistan often threatens nuclear attacks, but it should understand that India is a strong country equipped with nuclear weapons. India's policy is balanced and with:

  • Land-based, air and water-based nuclear attack capabilities are
  • The state -of -the -art technology to feature missiles from submarines is also developing
  • Pakistan has limited distance missiles, but its strategic position is weaker than India.

India's military dominance in the world

According to the SIPRI report, India is today the fifth largest military spending country in the world. The top 5 countries are as follows:

  1. America
  2. China
  3. Russia
  4. Germany
  5. India

The total contribution of these countries is more than 60% of the global military budget.

Warning to Pakistan, India ready

Pahalgam terrorist attack is a direct attack on India's tolerance and sovereignty. India is now not only politically prepared for retaliation, but its military ability and global status also strengthens it on every front. Pakistan should understand that now the phase of tolerating terrorism is over.
