Greater Noida: A shocking incident has emerged from Shyam Nagar in Greater Noida, where Kumari Ankita Kushwaha, a young and dedicated lab technician, fell victim to a vicious assault at the hands of her own colleagues. In a horrifying turn of events, Ankita was not only subjected to physical violence but also hospitalized by her perpetrators, leaving her traumatized and fighting for justice.

Ankita, employed at the Primary Health Center, alleged that on Tuesday morning, staff member Nitu and her husband Amarjeet attacked her within the campus. "They beat me up and locked me in the hospital," Ankita revealed. Managing to escape, she approached the Dankaur Police Station to file a complaint.

Video surfaces on social media

In the video, Ankita can be heard screaming for help, alleging that she was brutally beaten by her colleagues, Nitu and her husband Amarjeet. The woman is heard saying that they locked her in the hospital after the assault.

Allegations of corruption and misconduct

Ankita alleged that Nitu and Amarjeet were engaging in widespread corruption within the health center. According to Ankita, the duo was involved in various illicit activities that compromised the facility's integrity. She boldly spoke out against their wrongdoing, but faced severe retaliation. "They targeted me for exposing their corrupt practices," Ankita stated firmly.

Health official's response

Dr Narayan Kishore, Chief Medical Officer at CHC Dadha, identified a dispute over bathroom facilities as the root cause of the conflict. Although the issue had been previously resolved, it unexpectedly resurfaced on Tuesday. Dr Kishore assured that he will thoroughly investigate the matter upon his return from a training session in Lucknow.

The police have quickly responded to the allegations by registering a case and taking Amarjeet into custody. Authorities have assured that a thorough investigation is underway to verify the claims.
