National News: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel expanded his cabinet on Friday, adding 26 new ministers. A day earlier, all ministers except the Chief Minister had resigned from their posts. In the new cabinet, Harsh Sanghvi was sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister. This reshuffle is seen as an important move ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. Chief Minister Patel also met Governor Acharya Devvrat before the swearing-in ceremony.

Among those who became ministers from the Saurashtra region are Arjun Modhwadia from Porbandar, Ghantanaad from Kodinar, Kanti Amritiya from Morbi, Kaushish Vekariya from Amreli, Rivaba Jadeja from Jamnagar North, Jitu Vaghani from Bhavnagar West, and Trikama Chhanga from Anjar.

Members who became ministers from the South Gujarat region

In the same series, the MLAs from the South Gujarat region who are going to become ministers include Kumar Kanani from Varachha, Naresh Patel from Ganesh, Jayram Gamit from Nijar, and Ishwar Patel from Ankleshwar.

Who are included among those becoming ministers from North Gujarat?

It is worth mentioning that several members from the North Gujarat region will also be part of the Bhupendra cabinet. These include P.C. Baramda from Bhiloda, Praveen Mari from Deesa, and Swaruji Thakor.

These people from Central Gujarat got a place in the cabinet

Darshana Vaghela, Ramesh Katara, Manisha Vakil, Kamlesh Patel, Sanjay Singh Mahida, and Raman Solanki — all from Central Gujarat — have also been given a place in this cabinet.
