Health Minister JP Nadda Hospitalised At AIIMS Delhi After Complaining Of Uneasiness, Undergoes Coronary Angiography (x)
New Delhi: Union Health Minister JP Nadda on Thursday night has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, and it was reported by the hospital on Friday morning. The condition of the minister is stable and presently he is being treated in the department of cardiology.
JP Nadda, aged 65 years, has been admitted to the hospital and underwent several medical examinations, including a coronary angiography.
AIIMS stated that the minister is stable at present and is under observation at the cardiology department.
The statement released from AIIMS says, “Union health minister JP Nadda underwent examinations after reporting uneasiness late evening of August 13, 2026, including coronary angiography.”

Coronary angiography is an image test conducted to see the coronary arteries that supply oxygenated blood to the heart.

In this test, doctors will insert a thin long flexible tube called catheter into body blood vessels from either wrist or groin which will help doctors reach the heart. Later, contrast dye is infused in the blood vessels, enabling the doctors to see any blockage or narrowing.
