Where will clouds rain in UP-Bihar?

There is an alert of rain with strong wind in Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Agra and Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. The weather will change more in western UP. How far has the monsoon reached?

The south-west monsoon has gained momentum. It is progressing rapidly in the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Lakshadweep. The Meteorological Department estimates that monsoon will become fully active in Kerala and Tamil Nadu in the next 4-5 days. Heavy rain may start in many parts of Kerala. After this it will move towards Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

Why did the weather change in Uttarakhand?

Due to Western Disturbance, the weather of Uttarakhand has become pleasant. There is an alert of rain and hailstorms in Dehradun, Nainital, Haridwar and Pithoragarh. The risk of landslides may increase in hilly areas. Tourists have been asked to be careful.

Will there really be relief from the heat?

IMD says that due to rain and strong winds, the temperature will drop by 3-5 degrees across North and Central India. The effect of heat wave will almost end. The nights will also be cold. This rain is also beneficial for the farmers, but it is necessary to cover the crops kept in the open. Overall, the next 48 hours have brought relief for the people. Just be careful while going out of the house during storms.
