New Delhi: The Meteorological Department has said that rain will increase again in many parts of the country from Monday. Water is going to fall especially in the north, east and north-east areas. At some places, there may be rain along with lightning and strong wind. On the other hand, there are fewer chances of rain in Rajasthan this week. The weather there will remain mostly dry.
Arunachal, Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, UP, Uttarakhand, Himachal, Bengal, Sikkim, Chhattisgarh and entire 7 northeastern states. There may be continuous rain in these places. Low-lying areas may be flooded, so be careful.
The Meteorological Department warned of strong winds in Eastern MP, Vidarbha, and in the mountains and northern India the weather will be pleasant and dust storms may come. There will be good rain in Himachal and Uttarakhand. There is an alert of heavy rain in eastern UP also. There will be intermittent showers in Punjab, Haryana and Western UP.
According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon will not be very active in Rajasthan this week. The weather will remain dry in most parts of the state. There may be light rain in some places but that too will be less than normal. There is a possibility of strong and dusty winds in western Rajasthan.
Good rain in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bengal. There may be waterlogging in the hilly areas of Sikkim-Bengal. There will be rain in Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra, Tamil Nadu in the south.
The weather will be pleasant. Meteorological Department's advice. Do not leave home without work in rainy areas. Roads may be flooded and traffic jams may occur. Overall, in the eastern and hilly states for the next few days, go out only with an umbrella.
