World News: At the top of global passports, Singapore has taken the number one position in the Henley Passport Index for 2025. Of the total of 195 destinations to which people from Singapore do not require visa entries, they rank as the world's strongest passport, based on the extent of international relation strength and the freedom that people move in and around the country.

India passport drops by 5

India's passport power has weakened, dropping from 80th to 85th place, offering visa-free travel to only 57 destinations. It shares this position with Equatorial Guinea and Niger. India's global mobility seems less impressive compared to Asian peers.

UAE climbs, US declines

The UAE's meteoric rise to 10th position with 185 visa-free destinations highlights diplomatic success. The US has declined seven places since 2015, reflecting inward-looking policies and political isolationism

Who trails behind?

Afghanistan, Syria, and Iraq rank last with the freedom to travel at 26, 27, and 31 countries respectively.
Pakistan and Yemen ranked 103rd share one space as well, with entry only into 33 countries. Henley Passport Index 2025 is a beautiful depiction of shifting global dynamics where diplomacy, economic policies, and political trends play a huge role in determining travel freedom
