New Delhi: India has given a strong message to China amid reports of alleged infiltration of Chinese troops in Arunachal Pradesh. India has made it clear that any such activity will not be accepted in the border area and such incidents will be avoided in future. This development has come to light at a time when Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to visit India this week to participate in the BRICS summit.

What did India say on the alleged infiltration in Arunachal?

According to sources, recent entry of Chinese troops was reported in Taksing area of ​​Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh. After this, India clarified its stand regarding the situation on the border. However, detailed information regarding the circumstances surrounding this alleged infiltration has not been officially revealed.

India's message is that any such activity on the Line of Actual Control i.e. LAC will not be acceptable. Besides, China has also been warned to avoid such incidents in future.

Why did the commanders of both countries meet on LAC?

Amidst this matter, an important meeting took place on Sunday between the top military commanders of India and China. Various issues related to LAC in the eastern sector were discussed in the talks. The meeting continued till late night.

From the Indian side, 3rd Corps Commander Lieutenant General Girish Kalia led the delegation, while from the Chinese side, officers of similar rank participated in the talks. The meeting took place at the Vacha-Damai meeting point in Arunachal Pradesh.

This military meeting comes after National Security Advisor Ajit Doval's visit to Beijing last month. Doval had discussed many important issues including LAC with the Chinese Foreign Minister during the Special Representative level talks in China.
