Hormuz is one of the world's important oil routes. Any incident here can have an impact on international shipping and oil supply.
At present the situation is not normal. Ships are on alert and the situation is being monitored. This incident shows that tensions in the region are directly affecting maritime activities.
Shipping companies are currently assessing the risk. Many ships are being considered to be sent via alternative routes or delayed. If the situation continues like this, the traffic on this route may reduce and insurance and transportation costs may also increase.
