New Delhi: The statement of Israeli Ambassador to India Reuven Azar regarding the attacks on Iran by America and Israel is in discussion. He said the military action was taken when an “operational opportunity” arose. This opportunity arose after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Tel Aviv. He also clarified that there was no indication of any such action during his visit.
In an interview, Azar said that the action against Iran was not a sudden decision. Long-term preparation and intelligence played a role in this. He said that the attack was carried out only when the circumstances became favorable and the opportunity arose from the military point of view. He said that this decision was taken when the security agencies felt that the action could be effective.
The ambassador's statement also mentioned Prime Minister Modi's recent visit to Israel. He said that till that time the decision of military action was not final. Therefore there was no discussion on this issue during the tour. According to him, the talks between the two countries mainly focused on issues like technology, security cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations.
America and Israel have targeted several military bases of Iran. After these incidents, tension has increased significantly in the entire Middle East. Many countries have expressed concern about this situation and military activities are also seen increasing in the region.
According to the Israeli ambassador, after the action, Israel informed its close partner countries about the situation. India was also included in this. He said that Israel has been concerned about Iran's military activities and nuclear program for a long time and it was considered necessary to take this step for security reasons.
The Middle East has long been a hotbed of political and military tension. The growing conflict between Iran and Israel has further complicated the situation. Experts believe that if this tension increases, it may also affect the energy market, international trade and global politics.
At present, there are no signs of tension in the area reducing. Many countries are trying to handle the situation at the diplomatic level. However, experts believe that the direction in which the situation will go in the coming days will largely depend on the next steps between America, Israel and Iran.
