Local police rushed to the scene alongside a dog squad and the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS). To ensure everyone's safety, security teams quickly evacuated all employees from the building and launched a meticulous, room-by-room sweep of the entire facility.

Looking into his background, police found Tyagi had studied through an open education system and dropped out of a bachelor's degree program back in 2010.

ISRO wasn’t the only target on the list. The suspect allegedly unleashed a barrage of hoax emails hitting multiple high-security government bodies simultaneously. The threats targeted the National Investigation Agency (NIA) headquarters, the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA). He even sent a specific threat regarding a New York-bound Air India flight out of New Delhi, forcing security agencies into an immediate, high-alert screening before clearing the aircraft.

During their initial questioning, police discovered a long history of mental health struggles. Tyagi's family confirmed that he has been receiving continuous treatment for mental illness at various medical facilities since 2008. No weapons or dangerous materials were found at his house.
