Minister of State for Home Affairs Inaugurates Six Major ITBP Projects in Arunachal Pradesh (Social Media)
National News: Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs, Government of India, Shri Bandi Sanjay Kumar today inaugurated six key infrastructure projects of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) in Arunachal Pradesh. Shri Anand Mohan (IPS), Director General of Police, Arunachal Pradesh, along with senior ITBP officers, attended the ceremony. These projects have been executed by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD).

These new facilities highlight ITBP’s continuous efforts to provide modern and comfortable residential complexes, medical facilities, stables, and training infrastructure in border areas. The projects are expected to significantly enhance the operational efficiency, welfare, and morale of the force. On the occasion, Shri Bandi Sanjay Kumar praised ITBP’s dedication and commitment in safeguarding the nation and its borders in Arunachal Pradesh. He reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to further strengthening the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) with modern infrastructure and welfare initiatives.
On behalf of the ITBP Director General, Inspector General Shri Ashish Kumar extended gratitude to the Government of India and assured that ITBP will continue to serve the nation and protect the borders with unflinching devotion, courage, and professional excellence. Senior ITBP officers, representatives from the State Government, District Administration, CPWD, and Border Roads Organisation (BRO) were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
