Jharkhand News: In a chilling case from Ranchi, Jharkhand, shocking new revelations have emerged regarding the brutal murder of a woman by her live-in partner. The accused, identified as Naresh Bhengra, confessed to raping his girlfriend before killing her and then dismembering her body into 40 pieces. To avoid detection, he used the same weapon he employed for slaughtering chickens, which he then buried in a forest. After the gruesome act, Naresh returned to his home in Bengaluru, where his wife and son were waiting.

The victim, named Gangi, had been in a relationship with Naresh for over a year and a half. The relationship turned sour after Naresh married another woman, which angered Gangi. When she confronted him, he feared his wife would learn about the affair, prompting him to take extreme and violent measures.

The Shocking Discovery of a Human Skeleton

On November 24, a shocking discovery in Ranchi sent shockwaves through the community. A local dog was seen carrying a human hand in its mouth, leading residents to uncover a human corpse buried in the forest. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the body had been dismembered into pieces. Authorities were quickly notified, and a subsequent investigation led the police to connect the remains to Gangi.

The Gruesome Details of the Murder

According to police reports, Naresh had been in a live-in relationship with Gangi for a year and a half before their relationship soured. Gangi later found out that Naresh had married another woman and moved to Bengaluru. Enraged by this, she traveled to Bengaluru to confront him. Fearing that Gangi would tell his wife about the affair, Naresh decided to take action. He lured Gangi to Bhagwan Panj Tongri in the Jariagarh police station area on November 8. After an argument, he strangled her with a dupatta and then dismembered her body using an axe.

The police investigation, which was supported by technical surveillance and the discovery of the victim’s identification card, quickly led to the arrest of Naresh Bhengra. On November 24, a human skeleton was discovered, and the authorities were able to connect the remains to the murder of Gangi. Naresh was arrested and sent to jail, where further investigations are ongoing.

The gruesome nature of this crime has raised alarms about the safety of women in live-in relationships and the actions of men who resort to extreme violence to conceal their wrongdoings. Gangi’s mother expressed her disbelief, stating, "My daughter had called me recently and said she would live with her lover. We never imagined that her lover would kill her in such a horrific manner."
