National News: The famous YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra of Hisar, Haryana, has been arrested on charges of alleged espionage along with Pakistan's intelligence agents. Jyoti has access to millions of spectators through her YouTube channel 'Travel with Joe'. On Saturday, he was caught by the police from the New Agarsain Extension area.

Pak intelligence agents develop Jyoti as 'long-term property'

Hisar Superintendent of Police Shashank Kumar Sawan said that Pakistan's intelligence agent was preparing Jyoti as a 'long -term property' for his agenda. Although he did not have access to military secret information directly, his impressive network was being used for 'Narrative Warfare'.

Contact with Pak High Commission officer after Pahalgam terror attack

According to the police, Jyoti Malhotra was in touch with an officer posted at Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi during the Indo-Pak military struggle after the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April. The officer was later declared unwanted by India and excluded from the country.

Travels to Pakistan & China increased suspicious

Jyoti traveled to Pakistan several times in 2023 and China once. During his visit to Pakistan, he met the Prominent Officer of the High Commission, Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish and his colleague Ali Ahwan, who arranged for his visits. These visits have raised questions on their relations with Pakistan.

Active in 'Narcient Warfare' on social media

Superintendent of Police Sawan said that Jyoti was part of the 'Narrative Warfare' campaign run by Pakistan through social media. Its purpose was to spread the anti -India plot through influential persons. Police believe that Jyoti was carrying forward such agendas along with other affected people.

Police, financial transactions & forensic investigation

A case has been registered against Jyoti under the Indian Penal Code and the Official Secrets Act. Currently he is on police remand, which is five days duration. Investigation agencies are checking their travel history, financial transactions and electronic devices. Forensic experts are helping to find out if they gave any sensitive information to Pakistan.

Investigation of suspected detective network continues

Jyoti is arrested in Malerkotla district of Punjab along with two other suspects, who are said to be associated with the alleged espionage network. At the same time, Odisha Police has started investigating the possible relationship between Priyanka Senapati and Jyoti of Puri. Investigation is underway in this case and new revelations are likely to happen.
