Pune: Police has filed a 5,053-page charge sheet in the investigation of Ketan Aggarwal murder case. In this, much digital and forensic evidence related to the alleged conspiracy and murder against Sia Goyal, Chetan Choudhary and Ritesh Hange has been included. According to the police, Ketan's death was initially considered an accident, but investigation revealed that he was allegedly taken to Lohgarh Fort and pushed into a ditch. In the charge sheet, WhatsApp chat, mobile data, call records, CCTV, photographs and statements of witnesses have been described as important evidence.

According to the charge sheet, initially a plan was discussed among the people said to be involved in the murder conspiracy to take Ketan to Bengaluru and break his hands and legs. According to the police, Ritesh Hange had talked about this to a friend of his in Bengaluru. The friend reportedly opposed the plan. After this the accused started working on another plan of murder.

What was done to prepare for the murder?

It is alleged in the police charge sheet that the accused collected information about cases and films related to murder. Additionally, podcasts were listened to and information was searched online. According to some reports, the accused had also used ChatGPT. Police claim that examination of digital devices revealed clues related to such activities and mutual conversations.

How was Ketan called by a fake Instagram account?

According to the investigation, a fake Instagram account with the name 'Mahi' was created to bring Ketan to Lohgarh Fort. Another woman's picture was used in this. According to the police, Ketan was contacted through this account and he was made to believe that she was Sia's friend. Through this conversation, he was prepared to come to Lohgarh on June 18. The account was reportedly deleted after the murder, but the chats were recovered during a technical investigation.

What happened at Lohgarh Fort?

According to the police, on June 18, Ketan was taken to Lohgarh Fort. It is alleged in the charge sheet that Siya and Chetan pushed him towards a ditch. According to an investigation report, Sia first pushed Ketan and then Chetan allegedly pushed him with his foot, causing him to fall down. In this case, the police have also included the statements of witnesses and photographs related to the spot in the charge sheet.
