The meeting follows closely after security forces put up "Terror Free Kashmir" posters with three Pakistani militants believed to have been involved in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. The militants are Adil Hussain Thoker, Ali Bhai, and Hashim Musa.
The situation is still tense as security forces continue their operations to neutralize the trapped terrorists. The operation is still ongoing, and more updates are expected.
The Pahalgam terror attack, which took place on April 22, had already raised tensions in the area. Security personnel have been making every effort to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
The Indian security forces have been taking stringent measures to ensure law and order in the area and the safety of the civilians and tourists. The Shopian operation is a measure to combat terrorism and ensure peace.
