Mamata Facing Political Chaos as Multiple TMC Lawmakers Resign Amid 20-MP Split Rumors (Pinterest)
New Delhi: Mamata Banerji led TMC is depreciating in multiple segments after the losses in West Bengal election. Following the 50 MLAs, now Member of Parliaments of TMC also likely to withdraw supports to the party. But amidst this political chaos, Mamata has taken a sigh of relief.
TMC rebel leader Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar claimed that 20 MPs wrote a letter to Om Birla, mentioning the support for NDA.
But, in the meantime, Pratima Mandal told what can lead a relief to Mamata Banerji. The name of Pratima Mandal also included in the list, which allegedly offering support for NDA. She told on Thursday, that she didn't sign any such document, even I never been to Delhi since 4th June. According to Media reports, she said that. "This is a false news, People blessed me and sent here as representative...I've never been to Delhi, and I'm here in Kolkata only."
Pratima Mandal challenged the Rebel group and said, "The people who are spreading false news, if you are having 20 MPs, and the same information are continued for 2-3 days. Then I failed to understand that why the "letter of signeted MPs" still not disclosed? Why you're not even proving that the my name is listed there or not? Don't scammed our own people. I'm respecting the people sentiment and I'll be there till 2029."

Amid the rebel group rows, Shatrughna Sinha also supported Mamta Banerji and cleared that he will be with the party only. He also remarked that Mamata Banerji were stood with us when we were facing the problems, now it's our turn to stand with her.
TMC has total 28 Member of Parliament. To counter the Anti-Defection law, there will be needed minimum two-third of the total members. So, the 19 MPs are required to split the party, or offering support to another alliance or party.
She claimed that the out of 20 members, 18 people came out physically and 2 signed virtually in the letter to split the party. If the claimed information turned into real, then Mamata Banerji may loss even the existing TMC party and symbol.
On Thursday, Prakash Chik Baraik, TMC Member at Rajya Sabha, had resigned from the position of MP, along with party. After the resignation, he told to the media after the residence of BJP MP Nishi Kant Dubey, "West Bengal people had given the mandate in support of BJP. TMC had not get the public support. Respecting to the the public mandate, I'm resigning from the position from the party.
Prior top this, Sukhendu Shikhar Roy had also resigned from the position and then resigned from the party as well. On Wednesday, Sushmita Deb had also resigned from the position and party.
The most shocking report was of Shayoni Ghosh joined the rebel group, along with Kolkata South MP Mala Roy.
