New Delhi: A synthetic drug factory was busted in a domestic kitchen in Delhi's South district. Police arrested a Nigerian national. This "chemical kitchen" was running in an ordinary house. Narcotics like MDMA crystal and heroin were being manufactured. The quantity of recovery is huge, and the price in the international market is said to be in crores.
On January 20, 2026, the South District team of the Delhi Police conducted a raid in the Deoli area. The accused was working secretly in a normal house in a dense residential area.
While on foot patrol, the suspect was seen selling heroin. The accused tried to run away but was caught. Information about the house was found during the inquiry. The complete setup was found during the search. DCP (South) Ankit Chauhan said that this breakthrough happened through foot patrolling. Cash was recovered from the suspect. Inquiry revealed the factory.
Police estimate that the drugs made from it are worth several crores of rupees in the international market.
Emmanuel (36 years), a Nigerian citizen, is the main accused in this case. He was living illegally in India. According to the police, he is part of a big Nigerian gang. Specializes in converting raw chemicals into high-quality heroin and MDMA.
