New Delhi: The wait for rain is over. According to the meteorological department, the new low-pressure system formed in the Bay of Bengal will reactivate the monsoon. Due to this, many states of North, East and Central India may receive heavy rains for the next few days. Warning of heavy to very heavy rain has also been issued in some areas.

When will the weather change in Delhi-NCR?

The weather in the capital Delhi and surrounding areas may change completely between Monday and Wednesday. During this period, there are chances of strong winds, storms and torrential rains in some places. Due to rain, the temperature will also drop and the maximum temperature can come to around 30 degrees. There is hope of getting relief to the people troubled by the humidity.

In the pictures received from ISRO's INSAT-3DR satellite on July 19, a large part of the country was seen covered with clouds. According to meteorologists, there were dense clouds over about 60 to 70 percent of the areas. Maximum clouds were seen over Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and northeastern states. Long lines of clouds remained active in South India also. Whereas the weather remained clear in some parts of Western Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.

There is a possibility of widespread rain in Konkan and Goa this week. There may be intermittent rain in many areas of Maharashtra and Gujarat. In South India, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu will also receive good rain. There may be rain with strong wind, lightning and thunder in many places.
