Rainfall Alert Across India: Weather Set To Change From Mountain States To Delhi, UP And Bihar

New Delhi: The time of departure of monsoon is near, but the rainy season does not seem to be stopping in many parts of the country. At some places it is raining heavily and at some places strong winds accompanied by thunder have changed the mood of the weather. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, on September 29, rain can be seen in many parts of the hilly states of North India, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Northeast and South India. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning along with heavy rain in some areas.

In which states is there a rain alert on 29th September?

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh, parts of Northeast, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and South Interior Karnataka on September 29. Apart from this, rain and thundershowers may continue in many states including Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.

Heavy rain with thunderstorms and strong winds is expected in some areas between September 30 and October 2. South Interior Karnataka may also see a period of rain from September 29 to October 1.
