Mumbai: In a rather disturbing incident, a man who had gone to meet his girlfriend to celebrate the New Year has ended up with a lifelong trauma after the woman allegedly him with a knife and injured his private parts. This incident took place in Mumbai on New Year’s Eve.
On the night of December 31, a 25-year-old married woman had called her 44-year-old married lover to meet her on the pretext of giving him sweets. It is alleged that when the man arrived, the woman attacked him with a knife, inflicting serious injuries to his private parts.
The injured man is currently undergoing treatment in hospital, while the woman is on the run. The police have registered a case against her and are searching for her.
Initial investigations have revealed that the woman and the man are related. According to reports, the accused woman is the sister-in-law of the victim's sister. The two had been involved in an affair for the past six or seven years.
It is reported that the accused was pressuring the man to leave his wife and marry her. They often argued about this. Disturbed by her demands, the man moved to Bihar in November 2025, even though he had been living in Santacruz, Mumbai for 18 years.
However, even fleeing to Bihar didn't provide him with any relief, as the woman continued to threaten him over the phone.
After returning to Mumbai from Bihar on December 19, the man distanced himself from the woman and stopped meeting her. But around 1:30 AM on the night of December 31, the woman called the victim to her house. She said she wanted to give him sweets for the New Year.
It is reported that when he arrived at the woman's house, she asked him to take off his pants. She then went to the kitchen and brought back a vegetable knife. She then suddenly attacked his private parts. The man sustained serious injuries and was bleeding profusely. In his injured state, the man reached his home, where his son and a friend took him to the hospital. According to the doctors, the wound is quite deep and may require surgery.
