Mumbai: Now, along with investigation, administrative action has also intensified in Maharashtra's famous Nashik conversion case. After the arrest of the main accused Nida Khan, preparations for action have also started against the house where she was allegedly hiding. Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation has issued a notice declaring the house as illegal construction, after which the whole matter has taken a new turn.

This matter is said to be related to alleged conversion, fraud and mental pressure. According to police investigation, a young woman was gradually influenced to convert to religion. It is alleged that she was asked to adopt religious practices, wear hijab and use religious materials. Investigating agencies claim that preparations were also being made to change the identity of the victim.

According to the police, Nida Khan remained absconding for about 25 days. The police had intensified the search after his anticipatory bail plea was rejected. Ultimately she was arrested from Naregaon area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. It was told that she was living secretly with her relatives in a flat.

Why was notice sent to the house?

Investigation revealed that the house in which Nida Khan was staying was allegedly considered an illegal construction by the Municipal Corporation. The corporation has issued a notice to the landlords and people associated with them and sought their reply within three days. Along with this, a notice has also been pasted at the office whose name came up in the investigation.

The landlords say that they were not aware that the woman living there was an accused in this case. He claims that the house was given on rent for a few days at the behest of an acquaintance.
