"Hooliganism Is His Only Goal": BJP MP Nishikant Dubey Slams Raj Thackeray Amid Hindi-Marathi Row (Image Source: Social Media)

The Hindi-Marathi dispute is continuously escalating. Now, this issue has sparked political debate not just in Maharashtra but across the entire country. Leaders from Hindi-speaking states have also jumped into the controversy. Recently, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey targeted MNS president Raj Thackeray, which ignited a new debate.

Just a day later, as tensions over the Hindi-Marathi language row continued and reports of violence and vandalism by MNS workers emerged, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey once again lashed out at Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Raj Thackeray with a sharp verbal attack.

What did the BJP MP say?

Referring to a 2007 incident involving violence against a student from Bihar by MNS workers, mentioned in WikiLeaks, Nishikant Dubey said that hooliganism is Raj Thackeray's only objective — something the MNS chief resorts to out of fear of losing the municipal corporation polls.

In a post on social media platform X, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey wrote:

“When Raj Thackeray doesn’t get public support, he pushes goons forward — meaning hooliganism is his only goal, which he uses out of fear of losing the Mumbai municipal elections.”

"Limit of Tolerance Has Ended"

The BJP MP said, “My opposition is against Thackeray’s hooliganism, and the limit of tolerance has now ended.” Along with this, Nishikant Dubey also expressed respect for the Maratha community.

The BJP MP said,

“The Maratha community has always been honourable, and this nation belongs to all of us. In the constituency where I am MP, Maratha leader Madhu Limaye was elected as MP three consecutive times. We had even helped elect a Maratha to the Lok Sabha against Indira Gandhi. Thackeray, come to your senses. "Don’t turn your fight into an issue about the Maratha community. We have played a role in Mumbai’s development and will keep contributing in the future."

MNS Workers Arrested by Police

Meanwhile, on Saturday, police arrested five Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers in connection with the vandalism at entrepreneur Sushil Kedia’s office in Worli. The arrested individuals have been booked under several legal sections.
