Noida International Airport Jewar: PM Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath arrive for Phase 1 inauguration (X)
Jewar, Uttar Pradesh: PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the Phase I of the Noida International Airport today. Addressing the public, PM Modi said, "Has the inauguration happened? No. I want all of you present here to inaugurate this airport. Please take out your mobile phones, switch on the flashlight, and you will be inaugurating it."
PM Modi further talking about previous government said, "Samajwadi Party made Noida a hub for loot, but today under the BJP government, UP is becoming the engine for development."
Further talking at the event, PM Modi said, "I have explained in detail in Parliament how to deal with the crisis arising from the ongoing (West Asia) conflict. I also held a long and positive discussion with all Chief Ministers yesterday. I urge all citizens to remain calm, patient and united to face this crisis together. This is a situation that is creating challenges across the world, and we must focus on safeguarding our country’s interests."
"I would also like to appeal to all political parties in Uttar Pradesh and across the country to refrain from making statements that may harm national interest during such times. The Government of India’s policies and strategies are guided by what is in the best interest of the nation. Those who indulge in irresponsible political rhetoric may gain some temporary advantage, but actions that harm the country are never forgiven by the people. During the COVID crisis too, some spread rumours and misinformation about vaccines, but the public rejected such politics," added PM Modi.
Meanwhile, addressing at the inauguration ceremony of Noida International Airport, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said, "We are starting one runway. However, in some years, this airport will have five runways."
Yogi Adityanath even congratulated PM Modi for taking the state's aviation sector to "new heights" through the project. He said that despite global instability and rising fuel prices in many countries, India has managed to maintain stable petroleum prices and uninterrupted supply due to the Prime Minister's "visionary leadership" over the past decade, reported by PTI.

During the event PM Modi also spoke about the ongoing conflict in West Asia for more than a month. He said, ''India confronting this challenge with full strength. ''India depends on crude oil, gas from conflict-affected region, govt taking steps to ensure burden doesn't fall on families, farmers, added PM Modi.
