New Delhi: India's National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval paid an official visit to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, and held high-level meetings with senior Saudi leadership to focus on strengthening bilateral relations, energy cooperation, and discuss key regional developments, the Embassy of India in Riyadh said.

Doval's visit comes just after the arrival of Pakistani fighter jets and troops in Saudi Arabia.

"NSA Ajit Doval paid an official visit to Riyadh on April 19. He had meetings with Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and National Security Advisor Dr Musaed Al-Aiban," the Embassy of India in Riyadh said in a post on X.

According to the Embassy of India in Riyadh, these meetings covered a wide range of topics, including relations between the two countries, mutual interests, and regional issues.

"During the meetings they discussed bilateral relations, regional situation and other issues of mutual intrests," the embassy wrote.
During his visit, Ajit Doval met prominent Saudi leaders, including Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and National Security Advisor Musaed Al-Aiban.
