On 75th Birthday, PM Modi's special gift to women, children across the country

PM Modi Birthday: On Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday, women across the nation got a special gift from the PM. On his birthday, PM launched the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan, a campaign that will be held from September 17 to October 2. In this initiative, over one lakh health camps will be organised across the country, focusing on the health and well-being of women.

Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan

On his birthday, PM Modi also launched the programmes such as Swasth Nari and Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan. This Abhiyaan will be conducted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Women and Child Development starting from September 17 to October 2.

On this day, special gift of cash was also given to the more than 10 lakh beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY). Around one lakh health camps will also be organised across the country on PM's birthday. The camps are scheduled to be held daily in all government health institutions. Health specialists such as Gynecologists, child specialists will also be present in the camp. Vaccination of Children will also be done through in these camps. A special programme for registration under PMMVY will also done during the campaign for pregnant and lactating women.

8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah

Along with it, 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah will hold activities focussing reduction in consumption of oil and sugar to check obesity, and similar childhood care related programmes across the nation.
