National News:The speed, courage and strategic acumen with which India responded after the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam has been made a symbol of the country's bravery by Prime Minister Narendra Modi by naming it 'Operation Sindoor'. While addressing the nation on Monday, PM Modi said in clear words - "Now India has drawn a new line against terrorism, now the new normal has been decided." This was not just a speech, it was a warning - to the terrorists, and their patrons.

If India speaks, the world will listen

In his address, Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to the brave soldiers and intelligence agencies who executed this decisive operation against terrorism. He did not name any one leader, officer or party, but respected the collective power of the entire system. This is the maturity of a democratic country.

On the other hand, in Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif's address to the nation was spent in praising Asim Munir and pleading to foreign leaders. It indicates that the real power in Pakistan is not with the people, but in the hands of the army. On one hand Modi talks about the sovereignty of the country, while Shahbaz Sharif talks about running Pakistan's politics at the mercy of the world.

We uprooted the terrorist headquarters in response

Prime Minister Modi said in his speech - "In Pahalgam, the vermilion of our sisters and daughters was snatched away, we destroyed the Sindhu of terror itself." There was anger in his words that shakes the soul of a nation. He stated that India’s retaliation was so strong that Pakistan’s DGMO was compelled to call on the afternoon of May 10 and request for talks

Shahbaz's speech: Foreign policy or plea?

In his address, Shahbaz Sharif repeatedly named the US President, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, UAE and China, as if he was pleading for help from international donors and not his countrymen. On the contrary, PM Modi did not even name any foreign leader – the message was clear, India now fights its battles on its own.

Modi’s warning to pakistan

PM Modi’s biggest message was – “Our action is currently suspended, not ended. If India is attacked again, the answer will be given in our way and on our terms.” This statement is a warning not just for Pakistan, but for all those countries that directly or indirectly support terrorism.

Zero tolerance policy

Modi said bluntly – “This may not be an era of war, but it certainly cannot be an era of terrorism either. India will no longer tolerate terror and its masters.” This statement reiterated India’s zero tolerance policy to the world.

A roaring India, a pleading Pakistan

While India is showing the roadmap for the future by narrating the saga of valour of its soldiers, the condition of Pakistan is like that of a boat which is busy changing its captain even before reaching the shore. PM Modi's address was not just a diplomatic statement, but it was also an announcement of the future strategy - now anyone will think a hundred times before challenging India.
