Our Prime Minister is Compromised, Sold the Nation: Rahul Gandhi's Bold Remark on US Trade Deal (X/ANI)

Delhi: Amid the uproar in the parliament over the US trade deal, leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi launched a protest outside the Parliament on the suspension of eight Congress MPs from Lok Sabha.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the suspension of the Congress MPs, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said, I want to say three things. First, I am not being allowed to speak because Prime Minister Modi is scared. The trade deal that had been stalled for the last four months was suddenly signed by PM Modi yesterday evening.''

''There is tremendous pressure on the Prime Minister, and the image balloon that was created at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore could burst. The important point is that Prime Minister Modi has been compromised. Who compromised him and how it was done is something the people of India must think about,” said Rahul.

Further blaming Prime Minister, Rahul Gandhi said that 'Indian farmers must understand that PM Modi has 'sold out' their hardwork through trade deal with US.' Highlighting the parliament session, Rahul said that 'for first time in history, LoP was not allowed to speak on President's address.'

Further, Rahul said, ''We need to understand why trade deal stuck for 4 months was suddenly finalised last evening; there is huge pressure on PM Modi.'' ''Government not allowing me to speak; PM Modi is 'rattled': Rahul Gandhi said on memoir row.

Meanwhile, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra speaking on the same said, “Government's responsibility to run the House.”

It is to be noted here that in a light-hearted moment, Rahul Gandhi was seen handing over a toffee (sweet) to his sister Priyanka Gandhi inside Parliament premises.
