New Delhi: Padma Vibhushan Dr. Subhash Kashyap died at the age of 97. The reason of death was Cardio-Pulmonary arrest.

He was a recognized legal expert. He had broad knowledge of parliamentary and political affairs. He  was born on 10 May 1929 and played a wide role in parliamentary procedures, and constitutional laws.

How he played role in Parliamentary Affairs?

He is recognized as one of the important pillars among authorities on the Indian Constitution, parliamentary procedures, and constitutional laws.
Dr. Kashyap involved as a deep and long-run bond with the Parliament of India. He began his career with the Parliament Secretariat in 1953 and served the institution for roughly 37 years. He also served as the Secretary-General for the 7th, 8th, and 9th Lok Sabha between 1984 and 1990. He represented India in several platforms and also headed the Geneva-based International Centre for Parliamentary Documentation (IPU). He also served as INBA president December 31, 1983, to August 20, 1990.

When was he awarded the Padma Bhushan?

He was awarded with the 'Padma Bhushan' by the Indian Government in 2015, for his significant contribution in public affairs.
