National News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced several new schemes in Bihar, focusing on youth empowerment. He said that the central and state governments are working together for education and jobs. He inaugurated Jananayak Karpuri Thakur Skill University virtually, promising better opportunities. Modi emphasized that Bihar’s youth deserve new institutions and modern facilities. He reminded people of past neglect during opposition rule and said the NDA government is committed to growth. This announcement came just ahead of the Bihar assembly elections, making it politically significant.

Allowance And Scholarships Increased

Modi launched the Chief Minister’s Self-Help Allowance Scheme. Under this, five lakh graduates will get ₹1,000 per month for two years. Scholarships for students were also doubled from ₹1,800 to ₹3,600. The PM said this step will reduce the financial burden on families. He also highlighted that education loans taken through student credit cards will now be interest-free. These measures, he claimed, will encourage more youth to study without worrying about money.

Focus On Skill Development Projects

The PM called ITIs the “workshops of self-reliant India.” He said India needs to prepare students for today’s industries and also for jobs of the future. To achieve this, the government has launched the ₹60,000 crore PM Setu Yojana, which will upgrade over 1,000 ITIs. He also inaugurated 1,200 new skill labs in Navodaya Vidyalayas and Eklavya Schools across the country. Modi stressed that skill and knowledge are India’s real strengths, and Bihar must lead in this area.

Infrastructure Boost Across Universities

Modi announced expansion plans for many institutions in Bihar. ITI Patna will soon get new facilities. NIT Patna’s Bihta campus is now functional for students. He also laid the foundation for new projects at Patna University, Nalanda Open University, and Bhupendra Mandal University. Jaiprakash University in Chhapra is also part of this expansion. The PM said these projects show the government’s clear vision for Bihar’s educational future.

Political Dig At Opposition

While addressing the event, Modi took a dig at opposition leaders. He said that some leaders are trying to steal the title of “Jananayak” from Karpuri Thakur, but people of Bihar should remain alert. Without naming anyone, he criticized Congress leaders for misleading the public. He said NDA’s double-engine government—at the centre and in Bihar—will continue to deliver progress. He reminded people of misrule during the past and asked voters to trust the NDA.

Employment And Government Jobs Promised

Thousands of youth will get permanent government jobs soon, Modi announced. Appointment letters are being distributed as part of this youth empowerment program. He said the government is not just announcing schemes but ensuring that opportunities reach every eligible person. This is part of a larger plan to modernize Bihar’s administration and ensure fairness in job distribution. The PM claimed this shows the NDA’s seriousness towards creating employment.

Vision For Bihar’s Future

PM Modi said that Bihar is at the centre of India’s growth story. By empowering youth with scholarships, allowances, and skills, Bihar’s future will change. The PM added that modern institutions, interest-free education loans, and job opportunities are proof of the government’s commitment. Bihar’s youth will no longer be forced to migrate for opportunities, he assured. He ended his speech saying that the NDA’s vision is to make Bihar strong, educated, and self-reliant.
