As part of India’s representation at the inauguration, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar attended the event as a special envoy of Prime Minister Modi. Jaishankar also carried a personal letter from PM Modi to President Trump. He shared his experience on social media, expressing pride in representing India at the important ceremony:
