New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three-day visit to Gujarat from Saturday. During this time he will visit Somnath, Rajkot, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. The tour includes religious programs, development-related events and international meetings. The administration has completed preparations for this and security arrangements have also been kept tight.
The Prime Minister first reached Somnath, where he is participating in the Somnath Swabhiman Parv. This event is considered to be related to religious faith and cultural tradition. There was also a collective chanting of Omkar Mantra in the temple premises at night, in which PM Modi participated.
The next morning, the Prime Minister will participate in the Shaurya Yatra, which is dedicated to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country. After this he will offer prayers at Somnath temple. A program to address a public meeting has also been organized in the temple premises. There will be a drone show in the evening, in which India's culture and history will be shown through technology.
After Somnath, PM Modi will go to Rajkot. Here he will attend the regional conference of Vibrant Gujarat. Issues related to industry, investment and employment will be discussed in this forum. The state government and the industry hope that this will encourage new investment.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will also meet German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Both the leaders will visit Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad and pay tribute to Bapu's legacy. Apart from this, his presence in the International Kite Festival is also considered certain, which will send the message of strengthening cultural relations.
The Prime Minister will participate in some government and public programs in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. These include reviews of development projects and meetings with officials.
In view of the Prime Minister's visit, tight security arrangements have been made on the entire route. Central security agencies are also deployed along with the local police. There is a possibility of a large number of people attending the events, hence surveillance is also being done through drone cameras and CCTV.
This visit of the Prime Minister touches many aspects simultaneously. International cooperation is indicated through religious faith in Somnath, development and investment in Rajkot, and a meeting with Germany. Overall, this tour is considered important from the point of view of politics, culture and economy.
