PM Modi Shares Candid Moments Before Red Fort Visit, Surrounded By Cows And Peacocks (Instagram)
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday showed a look at his morning routine, with cows and peacocks saying the animals came to see him before he went to the Red Fort on Independence Day.
While sharing a video on Instagram, PM Modi said that every morning he feeds the animals.
“Feeding my friends every morning is a daily routine. Yesterday morning, they somehow realised I’m leaving early, so they came to meet me as I was leaving for the Red Fort. Special, as always," he wrote on Instagram.
The video depicts PM Modi's interaction with cows and peacocks at his residence. In the video, he can be seen interacting and feeding them.
In the video, cows and peacocks can be seen approaching PM Modi before he leaves his residence. The PM then feeds them with his own hands.
PM Modi made the 13th consecutive speech in the Red Fort, a historic monument on Saturday. On this Independence Day, he welcomed people, saying that the nation is rising to new heights of progress in various fields with the strength of 140 crore Indians.
PM Modi also paid tributes to the innumerable freedom fighters who shed their blood, sacrificed their lives and never faltered in their fight against the colonial rule.
The most recent post on Instagram comes as a part of PM Modi's wider efforts to reach out to the youth, especially to Gen Z.
The use of Instagram has also been accompanied by attempts to persuade other members of the government to go on Instagram and communicate with young people. PM Modi had requested his ministers to increase their presence on social media platform Instagram and promote government programmes there.
