PM Modi, addressing the Rozgar Mela, called it a reflection of government’s strong commitment to empowering the Yuva Shakti.

Speaking at the occasion, PM Narendra Modi said, "... This time is also bringing you closer to your responsibilities towards the Constitution... On 24 January, our Constitution accepted Jana Gana Mana as the National Anthem and Vande Mataram as the National song... This appointment letter is, in a way, an invitation letter for nation-building. This is a 'sankalp patra' for giving direction towards a Viksit Bharat..."

Further, PM Modi added, "... Think of all the times over the last 5-7 years, when you came in contact with the government, be it a government office, or in any other way, and you faced some difficulty or noticed some shortcomings. Now it is for you to ensure that all things that caused you trouble do not bother anyone else during your tenure in the government. Being part of the government, you will have to ensure small reforms on your level..."

Meanwhile, Union Minister Jitendra Singh talking about the same said, "... Out of the total appointment letters to be distributed, 49,200 are associated with the Home Ministry and paramilitary forces... Women constables are being appointed in huge numbers.
