Bhagwant Mann & Kejriwal lay foundation: Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann created history in Punjab by laying the foundation stone for 3,100 sports stadiums in Bathinda at a cost of  Rs 1,194 crore. Today was a historic day not only for Punjab but for the entire country.

Sports stadiums in villages for the youth of the villages

In the 75 years since independence, no government has paid such attention to villages. Until now, stadiums were built only in major cities, but for the first time, a government has initiated the construction of magnificent sports stadiums in villages for the youth of the villages.

The Mann government is constructing modern and magnificent stadiums in 3,100 villages. These stadiums will have tracks for volleyball, football, hockey, and athletics. Each village will also have a separate ground for local sports.

Govt to provide sports equipment

The government will also provide sports equipment. Village youth clubs have been given the responsibility of maintaining and maintaining stadiums so that these grounds do not deteriorate and every child in the village can access these facilities.

War against drug abuse

A fierce war against drug abuse has been waged in Punjab for months. Previous governments brought drugs to every household, ravaging the youth of Punjab. However, the pace of the crackdown on drug traffickers in the last few months, with the number of seizures and arrests, has been unprecedented anywhere else in the country.

Major drug traffickers in jail

Major drug traffickers are in jail, and properties worth crores are being confiscated. Those who once considered themselves invincible are now languishing in prison. And as soon as a major drug trafficker was jailed, all the old parties united, making it clear that everyone was complicit in the drug trade. But Bhagwant Mann's government has made it clear that drug traffickers in Punjab will not be spared.

Sports will become the new identity of villages

With this war against drugs, a new foundation is being laid for the future of children. Stadiums will now open up avenues for health and sports for children who are quitting drugs. Mann govt pointed out that the captains of four Indian national teams are Punjabis. In the future, even more captains and champions will emerge from these villages. Sports will now become the new identity of villages.

Mann government has provided 55,000 government jobs to the youth of Punjab

The Mann government has provided 55,000 government jobs to the youth of Punjab, without any recommendation or money—solely on merit. Under the Akali Dal, Congress, and BJP regimes, it was impossible to get a job without paying. Today, the government has changed the system. Additionally, the possibility of over four lakh private jobs has opened up as industry is investing in Punjab.

The next major step is to teach entrepreneurship in colleges. From Mohali, the Kejriwal and Mann government will announce that every college will offer students business training alongside their studies. Each student graduating from college will become a job creator, not a job seeker. Punjab is on its way to becoming the entrepreneurship capital of the country.

Sports stadiums in villages

The Mann government is building sports stadiums in villages, weaning youth away from drugs, and providing employment and business opportunities. Opposition parties devastated Punjab, pushing its youth into drug addiction.

Punjab moving towards becoming Rangla Punjab

But now, things are changing. Stadiums are being built in every village, young people are returning to the field, drug traffickers are in jail, and Punjab is once again moving towards becoming Rangla Punjab. Punjab's soil holds the strength that has given the country captains, players, and martyrs. Now, this same Punjab will raise its flag high in the Olympics and World Championships in the future. Today marks the beginning of this new story.
