National News: Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi fiercely attacked the central government over the recent statement of US President Donald Trump. Taking a dig at Trump's statement on India's economy being "dead" and on ceasefire and tariffs, Rahul Gandhi questioned the economic policies of the Center.

Rahul Gandhi said outside the Lok Sabha, "Trump is absolutely right that India's economy is dead. Everyone knows that India's economy is dead, except Prime Minister Modi and the Finance Minister." He accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of ruining the country's economic condition. Rahul stressed that the policies of the central government have broken the economic backbone of the country, which is affecting the common people.

A barrage of questions on the Modi government

Rahul Gandhi also questioned Trump's claim that he had "declared ceasefire 30-32 times." He asked sarcastically, "Why is Prime Minister Modi unable to answer?" Rahul termed the government's silence as a sign of weakness and said that it is playing with the interests of the country. He demanded a clear answer from the government on this issue.

Questions on economic policies

The Congress leader termed the economic policies of the central government as anti-people and said that unemployment and inflation have broken the back of the common man. He claimed that India's economy is in deep crisis due to the wrong policies of the government, and Trump's statement exposes this truth.
