Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma surrenders VIP Arrangements, here's why

According to an official on Wednesday in Jaipur, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has decided to give up the VIP movement rights granted to him. As a result, he will now move like a regular person and be required to stop at red lights.

U R Sahoo, the head of state police, stated that he will still move under the chief minister's security protection.

Reason for decision

An official spokeswoman informed that the decision was made by the chief minister on Wednesday. He derived at this conclusion by taking into consideration the difficulties that the average person and critical patients confront during VIP movements.

On Wednesday, the chief minister instructed Director General of Police U R Sahoo regarding the decision.

DGP of Rajasthan Utkal Ranjan Sahoo shared with the PTI "There will be no change in the security cover provided to the chief minister. The decision with regard to the arrangement of the VIP movement has been taken considering the traffic problems faced by the common man and patients."
