National News: Heavy rains on Sunday disrupted life in many districts of Rajasthan. Waterlogging in Udaipur, Rajsamand, and Banswara forced people to leave their homes. Due to the serious situation, the army also had to be deployed in relief work.

Rescue of youth with drone in Udaipur

A youth got stuck in the strong current in Udaipur's Aiyad River. The army rescued the youth safely with the help of a drone. Apart from this, people from two other areas of the city were taken to safe places.

Accidents in Bhilwara and Ajmer

A car was swept away in the rainy river in Shahpura, Bhilwara, in which a young man died. An old house collapsed due to continuous rain in Nasirabad of Ajmer district. There was an atmosphere of fear among the people, although no one lost their life.

Warning in Sirohi, Jalore and Dungarpur

A jeep fell into the river in Sirohi, but the driver came out safely. In view of the warning of heavy rains in the Jalore and Dungarpur districts, an order has been issued to keep schools closed on Monday.

Children buried under debris in Alwar

Two children were buried under debris when a part of a house collapsed in Khedli Syed village of Alwar. With the help of local people, they were taken to the hospital, and their treatment is going on.

Rivers in spate in Chittorgarh and Kota

The water level of the Bechar River has risen in Chittorgarh. Excess water was released by opening the gates of Gandhi Sagar Dam and Kota Barrage in Kota district. The administration has appealed to the people to remain alert.

Situation in North India

It rained after three days in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, while the weather remained clear in Himachal Pradesh. 74 roads have been restored here in the last 24 hours, but two national highways and more than 800 roads in the Kullu district are still closed.

Two children died in Bihar when a kutcha house collapsed

The roof of a kutcha house collapsed due to heavy rains in the Jamui district of Bihar. Two young children died in the accident, while their mother and grandmother were seriously injured.

Human organs recovered in Uttarkashi

A month after the Dharali disaster in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, a human toe was recovered from the Bhagirathi riverbank. The police kept it in the mortuary as per the rules. A total of 69 people went missing in the disaster that occurred on August 5, including nine soldiers.
