Trending News: Britain’s King Charles III and Queen Camilla recently made a discreet four-day trip to Bengaluru, marking King Charles' first visit to India since ascending the throne. Reports indicate the royal couple arrived on October 27, opting for a peaceful stay away from public view at the acclaimed integrative wellness facility, SOUKYA, located near Whitefield, Bengaluru. This renowned center is famous for its holistic health treatments, combining Ayurveda, yoga, and naturopathy.

Rejuvenative wellness and special diet

Throughout their stay, King Charles and Queen Camilla immersed themselves in SOUKYA’s wellness offerings. "The couple took various treatments, including Ayurveda and naturopathy," a facility official said. Their daily schedule included morning yoga sessions and a specially tailored diet designed to enhance their rejuvenation process. Meditation and other therapies also formed part of their routine, contributing to their overall experience of tranquility.

A natural haven for the royals

The royals embraced the tranquil surroundings, taking long walks around SOUKYA’s 30-acre campus, which includes an organic farm. “They left Bengaluru early this morning,” the official noted on October 30. This serene visit reflects the King's long-standing support of Ayurvedic practices.

King Charles’ past connections with SOUKYA

King Charles previously visited SOUKYA in 2019, even celebrating his 71st birthday there. The facility is managed by Dr. Issac Mathai, a renowned practitioner invited to Charles' coronation. Charles’ affinity for Ayurveda was also evident in 2018 when he joined PM Modi for the launch of an Ayurvedic Center of Excellence in London, aimed at fostering evidence-based research on traditional Indian practices.
