Calculated crime driven by blackmail

According to reports, the accused, along with two of his friends, first raped the victim before murdering her and burning her body. During police interrogation, the accused brother-in-law confessed to his crime. He revealed that he had an illicit relationship with the victim prior to the incident. However, when she began blackmailing him, threatening to expose their relationship, he devised a plan to kill her. To carry out the crime, the accused borrowed a loan of ₹40,000 from a bank.

Pressure for marriage and disturbing details emerge

The three perpetrators, Shubham and Deepak, lured the victim away from her home under the pretext of money. They then subjected her to gang rape before brutally killing her, attempting to destroy evidence in the process. The victim was last seen on January 21st riding a scooter with her brother-in-law.

According to a report by Times Seek India, the victim had blackmailed the accused by sending private photos and videos. She promised him ₹40,000 in exchange for not revealing the evidence, and he paid her ₹120,000 after receiving ₹210,000 from two accomplices.

Disturbing conclusion: Body set ablaze to erase evidence

Police investigations revealed that after the rape, the criminals strangled the victim and burned her body. The authorities found intact body parts sealed during the investigation, alongside condoms used by the rapists. Bihar police have successfully arrested one of the accused, but his two accomplices remain at large, and the police are intensifying their search.
