Patna: Amidst the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, the rift between the two sons of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav—Tej Pratap Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav—has come to the fore. The news of rift between the two brothers has now reached from political rallies to social media and interviews.
A video is going viral on social media in which Tej Pratap can be seen during an interview on YouTuber Samdish Bhatia's channel 'Unfiltered by Samdish'. He is sitting in his campaign bus when he sees a helicopter in which Tejashwi Yadav and his advisor Sanjay Yadav are present.

As this scene unfolds, Tej Pratap is seen saying into the camera, “Hey, Jaichandwa is also sitting in it!”
Tej Pratap has already attacked Sanjay Yadav by calling him "Jaichand" on many forums, but this time this statement was captured in a live recording.
The video further shows Tej Pratap asking his aide which team he's on—his or Tejashwi's. The answer is, "We're on your team." Tej Pratap then jokingly says, "Well, then don't talk about Jaichand."
In Mahua assembly constituency, Tejashwi Yadav targeted Tej Pratap without taking his name and said, "There is no one bigger than the party. Lalu ji has given a ticket to Mukesh Roshan. If there is a party then it is everything, otherwise nothing." Responding to this, Tej Pratap wrote on social media, “Our respected public is the bigger boss than the party. We want to tell our younger brother that the public is supreme.”
The 'family feud' of the Yadav family has now become an open issue in Bihar politics—where voters are deciding whether this fight is politics or personal ego. During the election season, every statement of these two brothers is now in the headlines.
