A shocking incident occurred in Telangana's Karimnagar district on Saturday, where a police officer was seen repeatedly striking a woman with a baton during a domestic dispute outside the Metpalli police station. The couple, who had been quarreling at home, arrived at the station to resolve their differences but soon resumed their argument.
According to reports, the altercation escalated in front of the police station, prompting Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Anjaneyas and a head constable to intervene. Despite their efforts, the woman continued to shout at her husband, gripping his shirt. In response, ASI Anjaneyas struck the woman with a baton, forcibly chasing her away. The incident was captured on CCTV, and the footage has since gone viral, sparking widespread outrage.
