Mumbai: The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has got an important clue in the case of firing on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. During the investigation, two weapons and 10 live cartridges have been recovered from Surat, Gujarat. Police suspect that these weapons may have been used in the attack on the actor. At present, the recovered weapons are being investigated to find out their connection with this incident.

According to the police, this action has been taken as part of the investigation of the case. In this case, action is going on under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS), 2023 and Arms Act. The investigating agency is now investigating the weapons used in the attack, activities of the accused and aspects related to the alleged conspiracy.

When and where was the firing on Tiger Shroff?

According to the police, actor Tiger Shroff was attacked near Pushpa Park in Mumbai's Juhu area last Sunday. It is alleged that the attackers targeted his vehicle and fired about seven rounds. Of these, five bullets hit the BMW car in which the actor was travelling, while two bullets missed the target.

In this incident, information was revealed that the actor's driver and another person present nearby were injured. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot. The police started searching for the accused by investigating the incident site and possible escape routes.

From where was the accused caught?

During the investigation, the police arrested three accused from Kota railway station in Rajasthan. These include a 17-year-old minor. The other two accused have been identified as Hrithik Kumar alias Roshan, 22, who is said to be a resident of Begusarai in Bihar, and Rehan, 18, who hails from Sonipat in Haryana.

Earlier, the police had also seized the bike from near Andheri station, which was allegedly used by the attackers to escape. Investigators suspect that the accused had monitored the actor's activities before the incident. The police are also probing aspects of their alleged recce and pre-planned escape route.

Why did Anil Pandit's name come up in the investigation?

The role of alleged gangster Anil Pandit in this case is also under police investigation. The police have described him as a wanted accused. He is suspected to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. According to reports, a claim of responsibility for targeting the actor was also made on October 18.

However, a person's alleged responsibility or affiliation with a gang does not in itself prove his or her role in the crime. The police are now trying to connect the links of the case on the basis of available evidence, statements of the accused and digital information.

Two weapons and 10 cartridges recovered from Surat can prove to be important evidence in the investigation of this case. Police will try to find out whether the recovered weapons were used in the firing or not. For this, forensic examination of weapons and matching with other evidence can be done.

Mumbai Police has taken action in this matter in many states. Information about some people being detained has also come to light from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana. The investigation is still ongoing and the police are trying to ascertain the alleged conspiracy behind the attack, the source of weapons and the role of other possible accused.
