Making a sharp attack on Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday labelled that TMC has achieved mastery in turning schemes into scams. PM Modi labelled the party, a synomym with "oppression, dynasty politics, and betrayal."

During a rally in the Nadia district of Krishnanagar, PM Modi set an ambitious goal for the BJP to win all 42 Lok Sabha seats in the state, highlighting the link between the advancement of West Bengal and the country as a whole.

The saffron party won 18 state seats in the general elections of 2019.

As the BJP's electoral symbol, the lotus, PM Modi urged supporters to "ensure the proliferation of the lotus" in each state's Lok Sabha seat.

He lashed out at the state government saying that “Crime and corruption have flourished under TMC’s misrule under West Bengal.

Tearing into Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal over allegations of ‘sexual abuse’ and ‘land grab’ in the Sandeshkhali area of North 24 Parganas district, PM Modi alleged that the ruling party "did not want the accused to get arrested."

He alleged that the ruling party used the women of Bengal as a "vote bank".

Noteworthy here is that Sandeshkhali has been on a boil in recent days and witnessing violent protests over the allegations of ‘sexual abuse’ against Shahjahan Sheikh, who was arrested earlier this week after remaining elusive for over a month.
