New Delhi: Eastern Railway admitted that the delay was increasing due to trains of two sections running together on many routes. In such situations, trains used to get late from their scheduled time. Especially in winter, fog made the situation worse. To eliminate this problem, changes in the timetable are being implemented from January 1. According to CPRO Shivram Manjhi, this step will prove to be a relief for both passengers and railway workers.
Railways claims that the new timetable will increase the chances of trains running on time. Traffic management will be easier, and trains will avoid getting stuck in collision situations. Besides, the risk of accidents will also reduce. It is expected that there will not be much delay due to fog also.
Timings of some major trains have been changed like this: train name and number, station old time, new time, and difference.

| 13403 Vananchal Express | Bhagalpur | 08:15 | 09:00 | 45 minutes later |
