Uttar Pradesh News: A man from Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, took his own life after posting a WhatsApp status late at night. The tragedy unfolded when his sister noticed the message and alerted the family. Upon entering his room, they were devastated by what they found. On Saturday night, Anish Mishra, also known as Dumdum, posted a cryptic status on WhatsApp. Around midnight, his sister, who happened to see the post, became alarmed. The status read, “My death is just a coincidence.” Fearing the worst, she immediately called her sister-in-law, Reena. The family rushed to Dumdum’s room, only to find him hanging by a noose. The sight left them screaming in despair.

Police take over investigation

The police were quickly informed of the incident and arrived at the scene without delay. They took custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Victim's final hours

Earlier that evening, Dumdum had dinner with his family and then retired to his room. His family assumed he had gone to sleep. Life struggling with depression

According to family members, Dumdum had been suffering from severe depression. He had been diagnosed with cancer some months prior and had undergone treatment in Bhopal. Although the treatment was largely successful, the mental toll of the illness weighed heavily on him. Despite the physical recovery, Dumdum continued to struggle emotionally, ultimately leading to this tragic conclusion. He leaves behind a grieving wife, Reena, and two children, who are now grappling with the immense loss.
