UP News: In a disturbing incident in Kanpur, a student preparing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) has accused two teachers of assaulting her under the pretext of social gatherings. The alleged assault involved manipulation and intimidation over an extended period, with threats used to maintain silence. Following the student’s complaint, a case has been registered against both teachers, and one of the accused, Sahil Siddiqui, is currently under police custody.

Allegations of Intoxication and Assault at a Social Gathering

The student, who moved to Kanpur a year ago for NEET preparation, identified the accused teachers as Sahil Siddiqui and Vikas Porwal, both associated with the Kakadev Coaching Mandi. According to her account, Sahil invited her to a New Year's gathering and allegedly spiked her drink. In an intoxicated state, she claims that Sahil assaulted her and recorded inappropriate photos and videos.

Continued Blackmail and Threats

The student reported that Sahil continued to exploit her through blackmail, using the photos and videos as leverage to assault her multiple times. She shared that she was too fearful to approach anyone due to the intimidation. When she attempted to return home for the Holi festival, Sahil reportedly pressured her to return, leading to further assault by the second accused, Vikas, at another gathering where he, too, allegedly intoxicated and assaulted her.

Ongoing Threats and Viral Incident

The victim revealed that Sahil’s threats persisted, effectively controlling her actions and preventing her from seeking help. The situation escalated when an unrelated video of Sahil surfaced online, allegedly showing him engaging in inappropriate behavior with another student, which led to protests by coaching students. This incident ultimately gave the victim the courage to come forward and report her experience.

Police Action and Arrest of Main Accused

Following the student’s formal complaint, Kanpur police arrested Sahil Siddiqui. Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Abhishek Pandey confirmed that the complaint has been filed, and further investigations are underway.
