New Delhi: The troubles of Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati, who is facing allegations of sexual abuse of minor students, appear to be mounting. According to sources, a medical examination conducted by the police has confirmed the rape of both minor victims. The police conducted a medical examination of both children on Wednesday. Complainant Ashutosh Brahmachari also claimed that the report clearly shows signs of sexual abuse.

Will Swami Avimukteshwarananda's problems increase?

After the matter gained momentum, the police have accelerated the investigation. According to sources, the medical report is being included in the case diary as crucial evidence. If the allegations are confirmed, strict legal action could be taken against the Swami. Fearing arrest, Swami Avimukteshwarananda has filed an anticipatory bail petition in the Allahabad High Court. The petition is scheduled to be heard tomorrow by a single bench of Justice Jitendra Kumar Sinha. The police can present the medical report and the evidence gathered so far in the court. Legal experts believe that if relief is not granted by the High Court, the police can arrest him at any time.

The case has been registered at the Jhunsi police station in Prayagraj. A case has been filed under the POCSO Act against Swami and his disciple Mukundanand Giri, among others. Police have stated that the investigation is ongoing and the role of other suspects is also being investigated. Further action will depend on the court's direction and the findings of the investigation.
